About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled PR Account Director to join our team at Climate17 | B Corp™. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of delivery for our renewable energy clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute corporate communications programmes for our renewable energy clients
  • Lead the execution of stakeholder relations for consultation projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and client relationships
  • Develop, structure, and write creative new business proposals with minimal input from senior management
  • Oversee the management and organisation of events, including stakeholder consultation events, workshops, photo calls, press conferences, and training days
  • Negotiate major media promotions and advertorials
  • Alert clients to PR risk or opportunities, including those presented by broader areas of corporate responsibility
  • Select and develop sponsorships, including planning, contractual agreements, and activity organisation
  • Provide high-level advice on strategic issues and media handling, including crisis management
Requirements
  • Several years' experience in a Senior Account Manager role, with a degree-level qualification in PR or Marketing
  • Experience delivering PR within the renewables sector is highly desirable
  • Proven and effective client relationships, with a thorough understanding of the media and communication skills needed
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Applications
  • Proficient in media database management and management of financial systems for team accounting purposes
