Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager to join our team at CHL Head Office. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant delivery of facilities management services across our portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Coordinate the delivery of facilities management services, including hard and soft services, to ensure a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Team Management: Manage and supervise a team of facilities staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including property managers, maintenance teams, and other departments, as well as external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, including health and safety, environmental, and reputational risks.
- Compliance: Ensure that all facilities management activities are carried out in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on facilities management performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and service quality metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of facilities management services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualifications: IOSH minimum, NEBOSH preferable
- Experience: Block management experience with some letting's knowledge. Willing to learn.
- Skills: Managing teams, setting direction, guiding, supporting, IT proficiency, communication, handling difficult situations, working well under pressure.
