Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be £12-£13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. As a care assistant, you'll receive enhanced occupational maternity and adoption pay, enhanced occupational paternity pay entitlement, death in service payment, pension scheme, benefits and well-being platform, 28 days annual leave (pro rata), refer a friend scheme, cycle to work scheme, and eligibility for Blue Light Card with access to over 15,000 discounts nationwide.
Job Description
You'll support clients to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, following individual care plans and assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, using the toilet, and supporting medication. You'll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
Required Skills and Qualifications
No social care experience is necessary to apply for this role. We're more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You'll need to be resilient and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
