About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinician to lead our psychological services in East Sussex. As a Principal Practitioner Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical input and leadership for our community and inpatient rehabilitation services. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting service users on their individual recovery journey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of psychosis and experience in delivering evidence-based interventions. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, case management, and therapy for clients with severe and enduring mental health problems.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established service and contribute to our mission of providing high-quality clinical care for patients across East Sussex. You will work closely with our clinicians interested in psychosis and be part of a strong network within the trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and input for our community and inpatient rehabilitation services.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions for psychosis.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, case management, and therapy for clients with severe and enduring mental health problems.
  • Work closely with clinicians interested in psychosis to enhance our service offerings.

Requirements

  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology.
  • Professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with a wide variety of client groups and presenting with the full range of clinical severity.
  • Well-developed knowledge of theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Salary

£85,000 - £105,000 per annum, depending on experience.
