Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Principal Practitioner Psychologist in East Sussex. As a senior Clinician, you will be responsible for leading our psychological services and providing clinical input for our community and inpatient rehabilitation services.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions for psychosis, including CBT for psychosis, Family Intervention, and Trauma therapy. Your expertise will play a key role in supporting service users on their individual recovery journey.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and input for our community and inpatient rehabilitation services.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions for psychosis.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, case management, and therapy for clients with severe and enduring mental health problems.
  • Work closely with clinicians interested in psychosis to enhance our service offerings.

Requirements

  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology.
  • Professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with a wide variety of client groups and presenting with the full range of clinical severity.
  • Well-developed knowledge of theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Estimated Salary

£92,500 per annum, based on experience.
