Job Description

Job Title: Head of Training Services

Job Summary:

Orwell Housing Association is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our training and development services. As the Head of Training Services, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our staff, including induction, onboarding, and ongoing professional development
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training content and materials
  • Ensure training programs are delivered in a way that is engaging, interactive, and effective
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Lead a team of training professionals to deliver training programs and provide coaching and mentoring to staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C / 9-4 or equivalent)
  • A full driving licence is essential
