Cleaner and Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner and Maintenance Worker to join our team at Samsic UK. As a Cleaner and Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain designated facility areas, including restrooms and supply rooms
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities, documenting any deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed
  • Notify management of any occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs as necessary
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms, ensuring all necessary cleaning chemicals and supplies are available
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including Material Safety Data Sheets

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a cleaner or in a related field
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • High school degree or equivalent

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, with varied hours from 6am to 12 midnight, Monday to Sunday. You will be required to provide your own transportation to sites.

Compensation:

You will be paid £22 per hour.
