About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our Responsive Repairs team in Ipswich. This role will involve carrying out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.



Job Description



  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of properties, including void and tenanted homes.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and restocked as needed.
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and service delivery issues, providing accurate information on work progress.


Key Responsibilities:


The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, or a related trade. They must also be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject and hold a full valid UK driving licence.



Benefits Package



  • A competitive salary of £33,702 per annum (rising to £35,476 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
  • An attractive benefits package, including 24 days annual leave, pension scheme, life assurance, and employee discounts.
  • A company van and tools will be provided.


Working Environment


This role involves lone working with occasional opportunities to collaborate with the wider team. The successful candidate will cover sites across Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk.
