About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Advisor to join our team at Tao Group Hospitality. As a trusted advisor, you will partner with management to build strong connections across the organization and drive employee relations to empower and equip management to handle people matters in a fair and consistent manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Advise and support management on best practices for employee relations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Policies and Procedures: Oversee policies related to absences, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, pensions, and flexible working.
- Employee Issues: Manage all employee-related issues, including disciplinary and grievance, performance management, and sickness and absence management, in collaboration with the People Practices team.
- Recruitment and Administration: Assist the Manager, People Practices, and head of departments with recruitment and related administration as required.
- Learning and Development: Support the Learning & Development Manager with onboarding, training coordination, and delivery where required.
- Performance Management: Guide performance management and annual performance processes.
- Payroll Administration: Collate and administer the monthly payroll.
- Employee Engagement: Promote employee engagement through CSR activities.
- Team Member Benefits: Manage the administration of all team member benefits.
- Staff Events: Arrange and organize staff events throughout the year in-line with budget.
Requirements
- UK Employment Law: Good knowledge of UK employment law.
- Judgement and Problem-Solving: Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism and Attitude: Professionalism and overall positive attitude.
