Finance Team Leader - Corporate & Retail

About the Role
As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and operational efficiency across our Corporate and Retail divisions in London. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of finance professionals, managing the month-end process, and driving process improvements to enhance financial understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of finance professionals to achieve financial excellence
  • Drive the month-end process with precision and efficiency, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Engage in strategic project involvements to drive business growth and improve financial performance
  • Take ownership of the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant with a strong track record of financial leadership
  • Proven experience in managing and driving the month-end process, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and enhance financial understanding
  • Experience in managing and driving strategic projects to drive business growth and improve financial performance
