Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Administration team at the Cumbria Psychiatric Liaison Team within the Cumberland Infirmary.

The successful candidate will have previous secretarial experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and typing qualifications are essential for this role.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, with weekend working on a monthly rota and the need to cover 10am - 3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.

About the Role

The post holder will work alongside a team of Administrators, Administration Manager, Team Managers, and Clinical Managers, with allocated duties to support the administration function for this team.

A high level of organization and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to maintain and update patient information systems, including RiO.

The role involves being the first point of contact for acute hospital staff and professionals from other teams, requiring a professional and friendly manner.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility in the role, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update patient information systems, including RiO.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including minute taking and updating action plans.
  • Be the first point of contact for acute hospital staff and professionals from other teams.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Previous secretarial experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Typing qualifications.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, with a salary range of £20,000-£28,000 per annum depending on experience.

The role requires flexibility, with weekend working on a monthly rota and the need to cover 10am - 3pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.
