Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Coatings Department Lead to join our team at McLaren Racing Composites in Woking Business Park. This is a new state-of-the-art production centre with the latest in CNC machines and autoclave technology.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will lead a talented team of specialists and operatives, ensuring the highest quality of work while continuously seeking new ways to advance our techniques and offerings. This role requires a balance of creative vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership skills.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee all paint and vinyl wrap projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Implement and maintain stringent quality control processes.
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new techniques and products.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project status, team performance, and department goals.
  • Ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in paint and vinyl wrap, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Familiarity with digital design software and vinyl cutting equipment.

Salary Information
