Structural Engineer - Steel Design Opportunity

We are seeking a bright and ambitious graduate with a keen interest in structural design to join our successful civil and structural design consultancy in Gloucester.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to work on a variety of projects, including steel design, and gain experience in project management, drafting, and design. You will be part of a supportive and creative environment with friendly and engaging staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural solutions for a range of projects, including steel design
  • Work closely with the drafting team to deliver high-quality designs
  • Contribute to project management and coordination
  • Develop strong communication skills and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
Requirements
  • Strong degree in civil or structural engineering (2:1 or first class MEng)
  • Previous experience in steel design from a consultancy or fabricator
  • Working knowledge of CAD (although not essential)
  • Hard working and proactive approach to work
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
