Clinical Development Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Development Nurse to lead and support the continuous improvement of clinical governance and quality of care for our residents. This role will oversee nursing homes in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, ensuring that each home meets the highest clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and support the performance of every home in your region to ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality of care standards.
  • Analyse clinical governance database and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and develop practical strategies to address them.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions to address any issues and improve standards.
  • Organise new training, help attract key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration and RN (General) qualification.
  • Experience working in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly-qualified nurses.
  • Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
