**Job Description:** Senior Public Sector Procurement Specialist

Turner & Townsend is a leading global consultancy with a strong presence in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Senior Public Sector Procurement Specialist to join our growing Contract Services team.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading projects in a strategic procurement environment, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

About the Role:

  • Developing procurement strategies within project or programme contexts
  • Leading supplier engagement activities, from market engagement to contract award
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Experience of leading projects in a strategic procurement environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of commercial principles and modelling
  • Able to develop procurement strategy within a project or programme context
  • Confident, independent, and able to work with autonomy without need for supervision
