The post holder will provide leadership and guidance to the Regional Stroke Unit team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence.

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for assessing care needs, evaluating care plans, and ensuring compliance with national standards.

The post holder will also be accountable for the management of newly diagnosed stroke patients and will be responsible for collating data for submission to the Scottish Stroke Care Audit.

Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for maintaining clinical and staff governance, ensuring that both are of the highest standard.

This role requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record, which will be verified as part of the recruitment process.
