Salary: £32,874.05 to £49,507.05 per annum

FTE: Full-time

Pension: Teachers' Pension Fund – Employer contribution rate of 23.68%, plus Death in Service Grant of 3 x your annual salary

The Music Technology department at Greenhead College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead our team of music technology specialists. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing music technology curriculum, leading staff development, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree in Music Technology or Music (with a significant component of Music Technology) and a teaching qualification. Experience of teaching music technology at A-level is desirable, but talented Early Career Teachers (ECT) are also encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement music technology curriculum.
  • Lead staff development and training.
  • Ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement cross-curricular projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the college's music technology strategy.

Person Specification:

  • Good honours degree in Music Technology or Music (with a significant component of Music Technology).
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Experience of teaching music technology at A-level (desirable).
  • Talented Early Career Teachers (ECT) encouraged to apply.
