Chief Technology Officer

Kirklees Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Music Technology department at Greenhead College.
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree in Music Technology or Music, with a significant component of Music Technology, and a teaching qualification. Experience teaching Music Technology at A-level is desirable, but talented Early Career Teachers (ECT) are also encouraged to apply.
The music department consists of around 100 students studying A Levels in Music and Music Technology and a BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Music Performance. The role of Head of Subject - Music Technology exists alongside a Head of Department in Music (delivering A Level Music and BTEC Music Performance) and a Music Technician.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Music Technology department, developing and implementing curriculum plans, and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning. They will also be responsible for managing the department's budget and resources, and contributing to the college's overall strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the Music Technology department and develop and implement curriculum plans

The successful candidate will have:
- A good honours degree in Music Technology or Music, with a significant component of Music Technology
- A teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Music Technology at A-level (desirable)
