Hitachi Rail LIMITED is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for Cyber Security Engineering, Planning, and Delivery as well as supporting the CISO in analysing, preparing and delivering for large-scale integrations.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security professional to come on board. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cyber Security Engineering, suitable experience, and knowledge of large-scale projects and integrations.

About This Role
  • Your main responsibilities will include Reviewing all available integration data, Identifying all Cyber Security deliverables, Identifying all Cyber Security gaps, Creating and maintaining overall action plans, and ensuring all teams deliver day-1 actions and day-2+ actions.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You can expect to enjoy a competitive package that includes an annual performance bonus paid on a discretionary basis, 25 days holiday, pension scheme with contributions up to 9%, private medical insurance, personal accident insurance, group income protection, group life insurance, employee assistance programme, and additional perks within a flexible plan that meet your specific needs and lifestyle.

Requirements
  • You will need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You should have Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to senior business managers.
  • Significant level of experience in providing 2nd and 3rd line engineering for large scale organizations.
  • Structured and detailed approach to ensure completeness of plans and delivery.
  • Experience working with large scale Cyber Security projects/changes/merger.
  • Experience with some or all of Network security architecture, Identity and Access Management, Firewalls and Proxies, DLP, LMS/SIEM/SOAR/SOC.
  • Strong Documentation and Diagramming skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical individuals.
