Cyber Security Professional Wanted

Join ESP as a Cyber Security Professional in the MOD department, where you will have the opportunity to work with top UK sales performers earning £400k. About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Professional to join our team in the MOD department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for customer acquisition, account development, and relationship management. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside government entities, understanding procurement practices and managing compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition: Actively pursue new public sector clients by leveraging partnerships, industry expertise, and networking skills, with an emphasis on navigating government procurement processes.
  • Account Development: Strengthen and expand relationships with existing public sector clients, identifying their changing security needs and providing solutions to enhance their cybersecurity.
  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong connections with government entities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Government Interaction: Familiarity with working alongside government entities, understanding procurement practices, and managing compliance requirements.
  • Cybersecurity Insight: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, with a focus on applications within the public sector.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for client interactions, government events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years in Sales: Proven experience in IT or cybersecurity sales with strong skills in building relationships within the public sector.
  • Government Interaction: Familiarity with working alongside government entities, understanding procurement practices, and managing compliance requirements.
  • Cybersecurity Insight: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, with a focus on applications within the public sector.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled in efficiently resolving critical issues as they arise.
  • Relevant Education: Ideally holds a degree or advanced education in a related field.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for client interactions, government events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
