Children's Home Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our team in Nuneaton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people.
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong background in residential childcare, with experience in managing teams and implementing care plans. They will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as OFSTED regulations.
Key Responsibilities- To support the Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as OFSTED regulations.
- To safeguard and promote the welfare and development of all young people in our care, ensuring their needs are met and any changes in behavior are addressed through updates to individual risk assessments and care plans.
- To maintain a safe environment that meets the needs of the young people, undertaking supervisions with senior support workers and residential support workers to recognize strengths and weaknesses within the team.
- To be proactive in responding to safeguarding concerns, following the correct processes and procedures in place.
- To assist the Registered Manager with interviews and safer recruitment checks, ensuring that all staff meet the required standards.
- 3 years' experience working in residential childcare
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent
- Full UK driving license
- Clear DBS
