Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Grounds team as a Grounds Maintenance Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and gain valuable experience in grounds maintenance, working closely with a team of experienced professionals.

The Role:

This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring the grounds are presented to the highest standards. You will work alongside our Grounds Team Leader and the broader grounds maintenance team to perform essential tasks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintain site grounds to the highest possible standards using machinery, equipment, and techniques.
    • Perform all aspects of grounds preparation, including mowing, seeding, weeding, and spraying.
    • Prune trees according to the site plan, remove dead wood, and chip as necessary.
    • Maintain neighbouring borders by strimming, weeding, and spraying as needed.
  • Equipment and Safety:
    • Conduct routine maintenance of grounds equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Fleet Support and Site Management:
    • Assist with the maintenance of the DCS fleet, ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy.
    • Ensure all external areas of hygiene are maintained to a very high standard.
