About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to join our client's leadership team. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the manufacturing sector. You will lead a team of experienced sales professionals, building on existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the manufacturing sector.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets and developing innovative product lines.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, Production, and Marketing, to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the executive team.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally as a Sales Director within the manufacturing sector.
  • A strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
