Job Title: Retail Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team at St Christophers. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our store, including managing stock, supervising volunteers, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures
  • Supervise a team of volunteers and provide guidance on sales, customer service, and store maintenance
  • Oversee the receiving, processing, and display of donations
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure a welcoming environment for customers and volunteers alike

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail environment, with a strong background in customer service and sales
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of volunteers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving sales targets and maintaining store appearance
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
