We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our client's small team in Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG environments, with a focus on innovation, organizational skills, and influencing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety written programs.
- Improve safety and environmental compliance for applicable programs, leading direct reports, leaders, and partners.
- Collaborate with partners and leaders to identify root causes of incidents, such as spills, safety incidents, and recordables.
- Stay current with required Safety and Environmental training to maintain certifications.
- Conduct partner safety observations (PSO) training for leaders and validate observations to continuously improve.
- Accountable for plant safety budget and work with Safety and plant HR to drive worker's comp cases to resolution.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or License/Certification in Occupational Safety, Health, or Environmental fields with relevant experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Safety in Manufacturing Environment.
- Strong organization and planning skills, resilience, process excellence, creative problem-solving, and results-oriented approach.
- Strong Excel knowledge and skills.
