About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at The Lygon Arms, a prestigious hotel and restaurant in the Cotswolds. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in preparing high-quality pastries and desserts for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in preparing pastries and desserts to the highest standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
  • Be a key member of the team serving The Lygon Bar and Grill, Conferences, Events, the Bar & Lounge, the Courtyard, Spa Bar, Gardens, and Room Service.
  • Liaise with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to identify opportunities for improvement in dishes and service.
  • Take ownership of maintaining high standards of presentation, taste, texture, and quality in all pastries and desserts.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout your section and the kitchen as a whole.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
Requirements
  • Desirable experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills and ability to work effectively with the team.
