Salaried GP Position in a Dynamic Training Practice

About the Role
The Hart Surgery is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our dynamic team. As a valued member of our practice, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
- Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
- Provide counselling and health education, and admit or discharge patients to and from the caseload as appropriate.
- Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards, and collect data for audit purposes.
- Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary, and participate in the development of computer-based patient records.
Requirements
- Fully qualified GP eligible to work in General Practice in the NHS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet Practice demands, and a caring attitude to patients.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development, and a recognition of the importance of showing respect, dignity, and compassion to patients and colleagues.
About the Practice
The Hart Surgery is a highly regarded training practice situated in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, with a list size of around 10,600 patients. We are a busy and welcoming practice, with excellent patient care at the centre of what we do. We have responsibility for 5 care homes within our local area, and a full complement of other healthcare professionals including Physician Associates, nurses, and HCAs.
