Job Title: Pharmacy Team Lead in Secure Healthcare Setting

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Huntercombe, a category C Prison located in Oxfordshire.

This full-time position offers an annual salary up to £44,100 per annum FTE, depending on experience. Our bespoke induction program includes training on Introducing Health in Justice and competency framework support.

You will receive regional and national career development opportunities and access to our Learning Management System to address your learning needs.

Candidates must have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and be subject to additional vetting and security checks due to the nature of the role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-centred care, focusing on medicines management and maintaining high standards of safety and security.
  • Manage technicians, including work planning, resource allocation, supervision, and appraisal.
  • Deliver non-judgmental care within professional standards, analyzing cost-effective prescribing and adhering to health policies.
