Lorien is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Governance Specialist to support their programme on an initial 3-month contract.
The successful candidate will provide specialist advice and expertise in the provision of Data Protection knowledge, ensuring the lawful and secure processing of personal identifiable data in the delivery of the national programme.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert practitioner support to the Technology Service in the development and delivery of the data programme.
- Lead and direct the provision of assurance that the appropriate due diligence has been undertaken to ensure the lawful and secure processing of personal identifiable data.
- Ensure that the development and implementation of new software/technical solutions adhere to data protection legislative requirements and associated risks are adequately mitigated.
- Apply expert Data Protection knowledge in the drafting of accountability and governance documentation, including Data Protection Impact Assessments, Information Sharing Agreements, and Data Processing Agreements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Data Protection knowledge and expertise, with the ability to provide leadership and direction in the development and delivery of the data programme.
They will be proactive in the application of expert Data Protection knowledge and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
