Job Summary

As a Client Tax Analyst at JPMorganChase, you will play a critical role in maximizing the client experience and ensuring compliance with tax regulations globally. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the collection of valid client tax documentation, apply withholding tax and refunds, and submit regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate tax documents and certificates received in accordance with JPMorgan and market level policies
  • Open client accounts in the JP Morgan tax system in partnership with sub-custodian networks
  • Set client trade settlement instructions and monitor client asset movements to the appropriate tax rate accounts
  • Lodge tax certificates and declarations with sub-custodians and depositories globally to facilitate tax relief
  • Perform regular reviews of clients to ensure they are receiving the appropriate tax treatment in each global market
  • Provide status updates supporting market account openings and client fund launches, ensuring regular metrics and milestones are provided
  • Ensure accurate completion of market documentation with market naming conventions and obtain sign-off in line with the JP Morgan & Agent Policy
  • Monitor and maintain changes for a client based on notification of tax changes
  • Exercise strong risk awareness and a flexible, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Proven risk awareness and ability to escalate and manage potential risk
