An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Building Safety Project Manager to lead and deliver the Building Safety Case Report Programme at CPR. This role plays a pivotal part in driving excellence in building safety, contributing to the Council's ambitious objectives.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to oversee the development and implementation of cross-cutting initiatives, including internal and external communication strategies. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders to cultivate strategic partnerships, ensuring effective programme delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in project management, particularly in complex and multi-stakeholder environments. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis, and excellent negotiation and partnership-building abilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a comprehensive programme of consultant commissions across the borough, aligning with the Council's building safety objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Director to manage ongoing projects/programmes, ensuring adherence to corporate project management standards.
  • Develop and implement cross-cutting initiatives, including internal and external communication strategies.
  • Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders, including Programme Boards, Government departments, and the building safety Regulator.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, especially in complex and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Solid understanding of building safety regulations, procedures, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and contribute to continuous service improvements.
  • Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills, with a track record of establishing strategic relationships.
  • Proficiency in presenting reports to senior management and decision-making bodies.
Estimated Salary: £400 per day (umbrella)
