Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a PIP 2 Investigator for a significant role within the public sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PIP 2 INVESTIGATOR
Oversee and advance the investigation of criminal activities and various inquiries, collaborating as a vital member of a diverse team comprising Police Officers and Staff.
Execute investigative tasks, compile case documentation ensuring thoroughness and compliance with legal deadlines, regulations, and organizational policies while maintaining the confidence of victims and witnesses to promote favorable outcomes.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong educational background with qualifications in English and Mathematics at GCSE level or equivalent. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills alongside proficient numeracy abilities.
- Possession of PIP 1 accreditation or equivalent experience in an investigative capacity within the criminal justice sector. Must be able to achieve a National Investigators Exam (NIE) pass within specified attempts, with additional training provided to meet the requirements for PIP 2 accreditation.
- Outstanding communication abilities with a talent for adjusting communication styles to fit varying situations and audiences. Proficient listening and questioning skills, capable of engaging effectively and demonstrating empathy towards individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Keen attention to detail, logical thinking capabilities, and the ability to gather, document, and present information related to complex scenarios effectively, even under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the capacity to analyze information and assess risks in complex situations to prioritize effectively.
- Experience working in a team setting with proven organizational and time management skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and performing well under pressure.
- Proficient IT skills with the ability to learn and utilize new systems for data extraction, analysis, and investigation documentation.
- Must possess the ability to travel across designated areas and complete assignments promptly. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving license is essential.
