With a strong background in acute medical healthcare, you will be responsible for assessing and caring for detainees, as well as collecting forensic samples to assist the police with their investigations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Paramedic with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to develop their skills and expertise in forensic healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and care for detainees in custody suites
- Collect forensic samples, including road traffic offence bloods
- Signpost and conduct referrals for vulnerable individuals
- Deliver substance misuse therapies
- Work with Liaison and Diversion to identify mental health needs
You will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.
