Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse to join our Health team at Young Epilepsy. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of children and young people with epilepsy.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will be responsible for working directly with the Epilepsy Nurse Consultant and undertaking key activities including assessments, placements meetings, and providing supervision and appraisal support.

You will also have the opportunity to learn from experts in epilepsy and other relevant subjects, contributing to your Continuing Professional Development.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a registered nurse with a degree or equivalent in nursing and have proven post-registration experience. A flexible approach is essential, as you will be required to work some unsocial hours. The ability to remain calm and confident under pressure is also required.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £31,948 per annum, dependent on experience.
