Role Overview

We are working closely with a leading developer to find a talented professional who can lead the team and drive major projects across the region. The role involves managing complex developments, often with mixed-use and large-scale schemes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects through the development process, with strong financial and planning acumen. They should also have full management responsibility for their team and be able to lead on major hybrid applications and regeneration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Appraising potential development sites and managing pre-apps and planning applications through the development process.
  • Managing existing and future joint ventures and partnerships.
  • Optimising sites through S73 and S96a's.
  • Undertaking due diligence, development appraisals, and feasibility studies.
  • Liaising with colleagues internally and externally.
  • Negotiating Section 106 agreements.
  • Discharging conditions and dealing with Removal of Conditions (RMAs).
  • Assisting with Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO) and land procurement work.
  • Representing the company at planning committee meetings and consultations.

Requirements

  • Experience in a developer, leading on major urban developments.
  • Public-private partnerships and joint ventures experience.
  • Excellent communication, written, and numerate skills.
  • Dedicated, hard worker, and team player.

Salary Information

We estimate this role is likely to pay between £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on the successful candidate's experience.
