As a Care Home Administrator at Wood Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the home manager in managing administrative and accounts matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Telephone duties: Responding to inquiries, liaising with the accounts department, and assisting with rota planning.
  • Email management: Responding to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling meetings: Coordinating meetings with staff, residents, and external parties.
  • Minute taking: Recording meeting minutes and action points.
  • General administrative tasks: Scanning, photocopying, and performing other day-to-day tasks to support the home manager.
  • Payroll preparation: Providing relevant data for payroll processing, including absences, expenses, and leaves.
  • Event planning: Organizing events, including catering, employee recognition, and induction programs.
  • Staff onboarding: Scheduling induction days, setting up new staff on Care Control, and supporting their transition into their new role.
  • File management: Ensuring staff files are accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely.
  • Rota adjustments: Assisting with rota changes, clocking in issues, and lateness reporting.
  • HR support: Providing employee information, documentation, and other support as required.
  • Liaising with Head Office: Collaborating with the accounts team on fees, admissions, and occupancy.

As a Care Home Administrator, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with the home manager and other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care and service.
