Wilson James is a leading managed service provider dedicated to delivering tailored solutions and top-tier customer service. We are seeking a Regional Security Officer to join our team at our client site in Aberdeen.

As a Regional Security Officer, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for protecting, deterring, and responding to security matters while providing an exceptional customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner towards the public, the client, and colleagues.
  • Make patrols and report in by means of radio or other devices.
  • Prevent the admittance to the premises of unauthorised persons.
  • Check desks for insecure items (clear desk policies).
  • Report damage to perimeter fencing or other property or buildings which compromise security.
  • Report faults that may lead to property damage.
  • Remain alert and vigilant to activity on the site to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action, end to end investigation and reporting.
  • Any other reasonable requests made by operational management.

Requirements:

  • DS SIA Licence
  • Experience in a security environment is beneficial but not essential, we are willing to put the time and resource into someone who may be recently licensed to give you the first step you might need.
  • Hard work and excitement for your job, we love to see people enjoying their role
  • A positive attitude with experience in a customer service role.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Be flexible.
  • Basic IT Skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
  • Car driver
