Project Assessment Associate Job Description

Revalue Nature Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Project Assessment Associate to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development of projects, from origination to certification by a carbon standard.

The Project Assessment Associate will build a holistic view of the project, consolidate and critically review scientific components, and work closely with the project manager to prioritize and drive projects' progress. The role requires exceptional conceptual, analytical, and communication skills, with a talent for solving complex problems and a willingness to delve into details and acquire knowledge quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and review carbon projects to ensure their quality and integrity
  • Build and hold a holistic view of carbon projects from initial assessment to project design phase
  • Pressure test and review expert analyses and content to ensure clarity and accuracy
  • Identify and prioritise critical project risks during different stages of assessment
  • Support the development of analytical frameworks and approaches that improve assessment quality and speed

Requirements:

  • Exceptional track record of delivering data-driven assessments in complex environments
  • Good generalist background coupled with a good understanding of NBS
  • Outstanding analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Effective problem-solving and ability to identify gaps in assessments and analysis
