Job Title: Adult Care AssistantWe are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Care Assistant to join our team. As an Adult Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care services to our clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
- Maintain Mobility: Help clients with mobility issues, including transferring them from bed to chair or assisting with walking, promoting independence and safety.
- Support Daily Living: Assist clients with meal preparation, feeding, and light household duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed and monitor medication schedules, ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Companionship and Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to prevent feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in the client's condition or behavior.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in domiciliary or home care is preferred but not required.
- Caring Nature: A compassionate, caring, and empathetic nature with a passion for helping others.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people.
- Flexibility: Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
