At Powys Teaching Health Board, we are seeking a skilled Health Visitor to join our team. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of families and children in our community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload within a defined population, with the overarching aim of increasing family resilience, improving population health outcomes, and reducing health inequalities.
  • Health Visiting Practice: Deliver the Healthy Child Wales programme and provide a high-quality service to families, individuals, and groups in the community.

Essential Requirements

  • SCPHN Health Visitor Post Graduate Diploma or Certificate
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Nurse prescribing

Aptitude and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
  • Flexible approach to unpredictable workload demands
