Teaching Assistant Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one assistance to students as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans

Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics
- Previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment
- Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification

Salary and Benefits:
- £18,355 - £19,280 per annum (Pro-Rata), including an allowance for holiday pay, £24,408 - £25,183 per annum (FTE)
