Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high-quality support service to agreed standards, maximizing service quality and continuity.
- Manage the Handy Person Service, handling customer inquiries, arranging appointments, and providing signposting for non-applicable services.
- Raise purchase orders and support the team with payments, including liaison with suppliers, utilizing strong IT skills and finance experience.
- Screen referrals from Occupational Therapists for disability grants and from residents and other professionals for discretionary grants, adhering to our policy.
- Undertake additional duties, such as verifying property ownership through the land registry.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in finance, including raising purchase orders and following up with suppliers.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in databases and Microsoft Office.
Important Notes:
- Availability: You should be available to start immediately or at short notice.
- Right to Work: You must have the right to work in the UK.
- DBS: This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
