About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Solutions Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh or Dundee. As a key member of our global support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers utilizing our award-winning network management software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage troubleshooting coordination at a local and international level, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Design, document, and deliver technical and product training for Application Engineers and subject matter experts globally, promoting knowledge sharing and expertise.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of hardware, networking protocols, boot sequence, file systems, and API, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless customer experience.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, VPN, firewall, SMTP, web services, email services, SNMP, and FTP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products/Features, including MS Exchange, MS SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory, GPO, VSS, System State, registry, and Microsoft 365 (Office 365).
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, including VMWare and Hyper-V, as well as experience in scripting and query languages, such as SQL, Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services) experience, including SES, S3, and AWS CLI.
