Job Overview

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Edinburgh or Dundee hub. As a key member of our team, you will provide world-class technical support to global customers utilizing our award-winning network management software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage troubleshooting coordination at a local and international level where required.
  • Design, document, and perform technical and product training for Application Engineers and subject matter experts globally.
  • Develop strong knowledge of hardware, networking protocols, boot sequence, file systems, and API.
  • Understand networking concepts and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, VPN, firewall, SMTP, web services, email services, SNMP, and FTP.
  • Work with Microsoft Products/Features, including MS Exchange, MS SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory, GPO, VSS, System State, registry, and Microsoft 365 (Office 365).
  • Gain working knowledge of virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V.
  • Experience in scripting and query languages: SQL, Bash, PowerShell, Python.
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services): SES, S3, AWS CLI.
