About Us:

Hampshire County Council is committed to providing high-quality social care services to the community. We are seeking experienced Social Workers to join our team as Assistant Team Managers, playing a crucial role in supporting Social Workers within the Family Help Hubs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support Social Workers in the Family Help Hubs
  • Implement the Hampshire Approach to ensure the child's voice is heard and their views recorded
  • Manage a caseload of children under child protection plans, child-in-need plans, and those involved in Public Law Outline/Initial care proceedings
  • Contribute to multi-agency practices by conducting pre-birth and parenting assessments and focusing on contextualized safeguarding for adolescents

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Generous Annual Leave: 25 days rising to 28 days after 5 years' service
