We are seeking a skilled Commis Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team at Firmdale Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of pastry and dessert items for our restaurants and bars
  • Work closely with our pastry team to ensure high-quality products and presentation
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for pastry and dessert preparation, with a focus on quality and presentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
