Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Pastry Commis Chef to join our team at The Ritz London. As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef De Parties in the daily preparation and service of food, ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pastry Chef De Parties in the preparation and service of food
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation are maintained
  • Be fully conversant in all menus, particularly items which are the responsibility of your section and their recipes and quantities
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve high standards of service
Requirements
  • Culinary degrees or qualifications desirable
  • A passion for food and cooking
  • An eagerness to develop your culinary skills
  • Relevant experience in a Five-star or fine dining property is desirable
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
