Pastry Commis Chef Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Commis Chef to join our team at the London Hilton on Park Lane. As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the running of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen, ensuring excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings, and bringing creativity to the pastry offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries and desserts
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Pastry Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to work with a team and to follow instruction
  • A passion to learn and a drive to succeed in a culinary/hospitality career
