About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Regional Directors to join our Volkswagen Divisional team at Marshall Motor Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences across our national network of Volkswagen sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a diverse team of automotive professionals to achieve sales and aftersales targets.
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture, coaching and developing colleagues to ensure great performance is recognized and rewarded.
- Oversee the sales and aftersales departments, ensuring performance is maximized with potential opportunities explored.
- Assist the National Franchise Director in setting financial and growth objectives, and plan accordingly to ensure profit and product targets are met.
- Ensure a clear focus on high levels of customer satisfaction, with dealerships consistently achieving exceptional levels of customer satisfaction (CSI).
- Establish and develop strong relationships with manufacturers to grow our partnerships and ensure our team develops in line with the brand partner framework and expectations.
- Maintain exceptional key controls, across Health and Safety, Compliance, and Group Policy.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a large site Head of Business level is essential, with multi-site experience preferable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a large and diverse team.
- An innovative mindset with the ability to devise and implement improvement initiatives and embrace broader responsibilities as the business grows.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to navigate barriers and proactively 'get things done' through the performance of your teams.
- High levels of personal integrity and the ability to inspire teams, drive engagement, and hold teams accountable for their performance.
- Exceptional relationship management skills, with credibility and personal style playing a big part in creating trusted relationships across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of the automotive retailing sector, with the ability to stay up-to-date on market trends and insights.
- A professional and calm approach, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential barriers and take decisive actions.
- Excellent customer management skills to build long-lasting relationships and ensure customers are at the heart of our activities and outcomes.
