Job Opportunity in Preston

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Support Professional to support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom environment at an excellent school near Preston.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with SEN and possess strong behavior management skills.

  • Estimated salary: £13,500 per annum (pro rata) based on a minimum rate of pay of £90 per day, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Support the delivery of lessons and activities
  • Manage the behavior and well-being of students
  • Keep accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Level 2 Teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
